Q: Dahlias have been accredited to be a remedy for a variety of illnesses. What are they? |
An herbal document written
in Latin just sixty years after the coming of Columbus was
discovered 1929. It noted that the Aztecs used dahlias as a
treatment for
epilepsy. The Chinese have added Dahlias to the lengthy list of medicinal herbs used to cure diseases. Zhang Hong, a noted expert with the Provincial Institute of Traditional Medicine of Liaoning Province, northeast China, claimed Dahlias helps to improve immunity, reduce blood sugar, and resist gastric ulcers. Dahlia, which came to China in the early years of last century, has been used by local doctors to treat HIV patients in combination with other medicines. Chinese scientists have discovered that Dahlia is among 31 anti-HIV herbs that have been selected from among 400-plus plants. Information Source. |
